The IBM PC (DOS) version release in 1983 by Micro Fun.

This release shared the same box as the Colecovision and Apple II versions. It got a sticker on the front to identify it as the PC version. The screen shots on the back are of the Apple II version.

Interesting discoloration of the diskette holder!

This and the Atari home computer version are the ones that started it all. These are the original versions that all the others are a port of.

We are missing the warranty card for this! If you have it and wish to donate it to the Miner 2049er Museum, please reply to this post! We’ll even accept just a picture if you don’t wish to part with yours.

Complete and in nice shape!

The 1983 Texas Instruments 99/4a release by Tigervision is one of the few carts that got around licensing restrictions by plugging in to the expansion slot instead of the cartridge port. That is the reason for the strange protuberance on the underside of the cart.

This version only featured 8 of the 10 original levels.

This rare sequel was released in limited quantities on the Apple II by Micro Fun in 1984.

The rumor goes that they had a contract with Bill Hogue for a sequel called Scaper Caper that never materialized and, since they had spent money on advertising it, decided to recoup some costs by making a sequel of their own with help from Mike Livesay.
